Accident – Death – Obituary News :
An unfortunate incident unfolded in Marion County on Saturday, resulting in the tragic death of an 18-year-old woman and leaving two others injured. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the crash took place at the intersection of County Road 484 and SW 95th Circle at approximately 4:42 p.m.
According to the authorities, a sedan was travelling southbound on SW 95th Circle in the right turn lane when a truck driver, heading westbound on County Road 484, collided with the sedan. The impact occurred when the sedan entered the intersection, causing the front of the truck to crash into the left side of the sedan. Both vehicles came to a halt on the south shoulder of County Road 484.
The 20-year-old female driver of the sedan sustained critical injuries in the collision. Tragically, there were two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash. One of them, a 20-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 2-year-old toddler is currently in serious condition, as per the FHP report.
It was revealed by the FHP that neither the driver nor the 18-year-old passenger in the sedan were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. On the other hand, the 43-year-old male driver of the pickup truck, along with the two passengers in the vehicle, miraculously escaped without any injuries. However, it was noted that the 43-year-old driver and one of the pickup’s passengers were also not wearing seatbelts, as reported by the FHP.

The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the fatal crash in Marion County. The FHP is working diligently to determine the exact cause of the accident and whether any negligence or reckless behaviour played a role in the tragic outcome.
