The burglaries involved the theft of multiple ATVs, trailers, tools, and approximately £60,000 worth of agricultural chemicals. The community was left reeling as the burglaries continued to escalate.
Suspect identified
Authorities soon identified Rafael Lopez, a 45-year-old resident of Terra Bella, as a suspect in at least three of the burglaries. Lopez’s alleged involvement in the crimes only added to the concern and fear spreading throughout the community.
