Pankaj Kumar : “Bihar man found dead in temple”

Bihar crime news: In a disturbing incident that has shocked the residents of Belawan village in Bihar’s Kaimur district, a 23-year-old man was brutally murdered on Friday night. The victim, identified as Pankaj Kumar, was found dead with his throat slit at a temple in Sonara village near Belawan on Saturday morning, as confirmed by the local authorities.

Family members made the gruesome discovery on Saturday morning when Pankaj failed to return home the previous evening. The police were informed, and upon arrival, they took statements from the victim’s relatives. The family demanded justice and refused to allow the body to be moved until senior officials intervened. The body was then taken to Bhabua Sadar Hospital for a post-mortem examination, with assurances of swift action against the perpetrators.

The victim’s family, informed by locals around 6 am on Saturday, alleged the involvement of the girl’s family in the heinous crime.

Pankaj’s paternal aunt recounted, “He left around 4:00 pm, bought vegetables, and sent them home with a child. When he didn’t return, we searched for him until midnight, assuming he was with friends.”

Involvement of Love Affair

Bhabua Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Shiv Shankar Kumar revealed that the youth met a tragic end due to a suspected love affair. Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the murder.

“Based on the information we have received, the youth was murdered in the temple premises on Friday night. We have arrested two suspects in connection with the crime. Further investigations are ongoing,” stated the SDPO.
