A male resident of Concord has been taken into custody in relation to a shooting incident that occurred inside a bar in Laconia, as reported by authorities. The Laconia police department received a call about gunshots being fired at the Big House Nightclub in the early hours of May 19.
Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered an individual with a head injury located across the street from the establishment. It was revealed that a physical altercation had erupted inside the Big House Nightclub, leading to an individual discharging a firearm into the floor. The suspect behind the shot has been identified as Charles Sonny Anzaldi Jr., a 24-year-old from Concord.
Following the incident, Anzaldi voluntarily surrendered himself to the authorities on Thursday. He is facing charges of felony reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and felony criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. Anzaldi was subsequently released on personal recognizance bail.
Laconia police are urging anyone who may have information regarding the shooting to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
