An administrator at Disneyland’s exclusive Club 33, Bonnye Mavis Lear, tragically passed away after a devastating accident at the theme park’s resort in Anaheim. The 60-year-old woman from Fullerton suffered fatal injuries when she fell from a moving golf cart and struck her head.

Paramedics responded to the incident at the backstage area of Disneyland on West Ball Road and South West Street at around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. According to Sgt. Jon McClintock of the Anaheim Police Department, the woman was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

Despite medical efforts, Lear succumbed to her injuries on Friday, leaving her colleagues and loved ones in shock and mourning. Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock expressed his condolences, stating, “We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye and offer our sincere sympathies to everyone who knew her.”

Lear was a dedicated member of the Club 33 team, providing membership support services at the members-only restaurant and lounge situated in the New Orleans Square area of the park. Her contributions to the prestigious establishment were valued, and her presence will be deeply missed.

The entire Disneyland community is coming together to support Lear’s family and colleagues during this difficult time. Potrock emphasized the importance of providing resources and assistance to those affected by the tragic incident.
