Authorities in Denton have confirmed that the Amber Alert issued for a 4-year-old boy has been canceled after he was located with his mother in Richardson. The boy, who was believed to have been taken by his non-custodial parent, was found just before 11 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Denton police, the mother, identified as Selena Grasty, is now in custody following the discovery of the pair in Richardson. The Amber Alert was initially issued after their last known location was traced to the 3800 block of Canyon Verde Lane on June 3.
