A man who had evaded authorities following an alleged house burglary in San Geronimo Valley in May has been apprehended by Marin County authorities. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Emani Gordon, in Santa Rosa on Thursday.

The incident unfolded when deputies responded to a report of an interrupted residential burglary on Corona Avenue in Lagunitas on May 20. A homeowner managed to detain one of the two suspected burglars at the scene, while the other fled in a silver Ford Taurus driven by a third accomplice.

Shortly after the burglary, the Central Marin Police Authority received a report of a reckless driver in a silver Ford sedan at an intersection in San Anselmo, approximately 8 miles away from the initial crime scene. Law enforcement attempted to stop the vehicle on Terrace Avenue in San Anselmo, leading to a foot pursuit as the front seat passenger fled into a nearby neighbourhood. The driver was apprehended at the scene, but the fleeing suspect, identified as Gordon, managed to escape.

Following an extensive search, Gordon was located and arrested in Santa Rosa. He has been booked into Marin County Jail on charges of residential burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and violation of state parole. The other suspects involved in the incident, identified as Shalaya Cherry, 29, from Marin City, and Clarissa Anderson, 25, of San Rafael, were also arrested and booked on similar charges.
