WAVERLY, Ohio — A former Waverly police officer, Mark A. Anglemyer Jr., has been arrested following federal drug raids conducted at multiple locations in Pike County. Anglemyer, who has also served with the Pike County Sheriff’s Office and as an auxiliary officer in Piketon and Oak Hill, was identified as one of the individuals taken into custody.
The coordinated raids, which targeted separate residences, were carried out by federal authorities. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has not provided detailed information about the operations at this time.
Anglemyer is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail under a federal hold and is not eligible for bond. Efforts to reach the DEA for further comments have not yet been successful.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover more information about the drug operation and any potential additional arrests or charges that may arise.
