Bubakard Yadee : “Mitsubishi Pajero Bridge Crash Kills One”

A devastating incident unfolded in Phatthalung Province when a Mitsubishi Pajero lost control and careened off a bridge, resulting in severe damage to the vehicle and claiming the life of one individual while leaving two others injured. The authorities swiftly responded to the scene on Ban Khu-Kong Ra Road following the tragic accident.

On the night of the incident, at 11.40 pm, the Kong Ra Police Station in Phatthalung received reports of a vehicle accident in Moo 4, Khlong Chalerm Subdistrict, Kong Ra District. The Mitsubishi Pajero, bearing the licence plate 5973 Songkhla, had veered off the bridge, flipped onto its side, and landed in a roadside ditch. The impact left the car extensively damaged, with three occupants trapped inside.

Emergency responders utilized hydraulic cutting tools to extricate the trapped individuals, who were identified as 55-year-old Hronmin Wadthan, 63-year-old Jutharat Saenwandi, and the driver, 59-year-old Bubakard Yadee. All three victims were rushed to Kong Ra Hospital with severe injuries. Tragically, Bubakard Yadee succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

Local residents recounted hearing a loud crash at the curve in the road where the accident occurred. The vehicle had lost control and crashed into the ditch, prompting nearby residents to rush to the scene and offer assistance until the arrival of emergency services.

The authorities are conducting an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. The curve in the road where the tragedy occurred is known to be hazardous, and it is suspected that the vehicle may have skidded off the road due to losing control, as reported by KhaoSod.

In a separate incident on June 2, a sedan in Sakon Nakhon collided with another vehicle before losing control, crossing the median strip, and colliding with a parked truck. The driver, who was trapped behind the wheel, succumbed to her injuries.
