CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Caddo Parish Coroner has identified two men who were fatally injured in two separate shootings that occurred within an hour of one another on Tuesday afternoon.
First Shooting Victim
The first shooting took the life of 41-year-old Billy Doyle from Keithville. Doyle was tragically gunned down outside a gas station in the 4300 block of Linwood Avenue at around 4:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Second Shooting Victim
Shortly before 5:20 p.m., another shooting occurred in the 3500 block of Milam Street. A passing Shreveport fire ambulance was flagged down by a resident who informed medics about a man who had been shot in the area. The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Trevion Marshall from Shreveport.
These incidents have sent shockwaves through the community, prompting local authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shootings and work towards bringing those responsible to justice.
