A tragic head-on collision in Playa del Rey on Tuesday evening has resulted in one fatality and three individuals in critical condition. The incident occurred on the 8800 block of Vista Del Mar just before 8 p.m., as reported by the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders found multiple individuals injured, with one person pronounced dead inside one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Three other individuals were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, with two of them requiring extrication from the wreckage.
The injured parties have been identified as a 30-year-old woman, an 18-year-old girl, an 18-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old boy. Sky5 footage of the scene revealed a blue sedan and a white SUV with significant damage, particularly the sedan which was completely wrecked and being attended to by rescue crews.
