In a recent development in Central Texas, a missing elderly man has been found safe in Lorena. The discovery was made by a Lorena Police officer who was patrolling along Interstate 35 around 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The officer came across a vehicle that appeared to be stranded, and upon further investigation, found the only occupant of the vehicle to be a missing person from the Southlake Police Department. A Silver Alert had been issued for the gentleman, identified as 74-year-old Scott Quisling.
Concerned for Quisling’s well-being, the officer determined that he needed to be checked out by medical personnel. Contact was made with Southlake officials, and Quisling was subsequently reunited with his family, much to the relief of all involved.
Previous Alerts and Last Known Location
Prior to being found in Lorena, the Texas Department of Public Safety had issued a Silver Alert for Quisling when he was reported missing. He was last seen around 6:15 a.m. on Monday in Little River Academy, just south of Temple. Quisling was driving a white 2018 GMC Yukon with the Texas license plate JXK5747.
