Details of the Incident
According to the authorities, the incident took place on June 3 at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Masthead Trail in Triangle. The police were alerted to the scene following reports of gunshots being fired in the area.
Witnesses informed the police that a group of individuals had gathered in a grassy area near some residential properties when the shooting occurred. The chaos ensued as multiple shots rang out, causing panic among the group.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement officers, the group scattered in different directions, complicating the initial response to the situation. Despite the chaotic scene, officers managed to provide immediate assistance to two of the victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.
Victims’ Condition and Response
Both injured victims were swiftly transported to the nearest hospital for urgent medical attention.
