Accident – Death – Obituary News : The 23-year-old student from Hyderabad, Nitheesha Kandula, who was reported missing in the US on May 28, has been successfully located. Authorities have confirmed that she is safe, although the exact details of her whereabouts and the time of her discovery have not been disclosed, as reported by TOI.

Reports suggest that the Hyderabad student was last seen in Los Angeles, California, and had been missing since then. She is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds (72.5 kgs), with black hair and black eyes.

In a recent development, a 25-year-old student from Telangana, Rupesh Chandra Chintakindi, has gone missing in Chicago, US. Rupesh is currently pursuing a master’s degree at Concordia University, Wisconsin.

Tragically, incidents of Indian students losing their lives in the US due to road accidents have also been on the rise. Last year, a 24-year-old student from Hyderabad, Pratiksha Kunwar, who was studying for a Master’s in Business Analysis, lost her life in a road accident in Cheney, Kansas. The accident occurred on the night of October 15 while Pratiksha was travelling in a car with her sister, friend, and driver.

This unfortunate incident is not an isolated case, as several Hyderabad students have tragically lost their lives in road accidents in the US in the past. It serves as a sobering reminder of the risks that international students face while studying abroad.
