A Dayton man, Jeremiah Addison, aged 22, is facing multiple charges after allegedly holding a pharmacist at gunpoint during a robbery at a Kroger store in Harrison Township. According to records from Vandalia Municipal Court, Addison has been charged with robbery, aggravated robbery, and aggravated possession of drugs.

The incident unfolded at the Kroger store on W. Siebenthaler Avenue, where deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an aggravated robbery just before 9 a.m. on Thursday. According to an affidavit and statement of facts, the suspect, later identified as Addison, held a pharmacist at gunpoint and demanded two bottles of liquid Hydrocodone before fleeing the scene.

During the robbery, the suspect allegedly struck an employee in the face with the firearm, causing minor injuries. A few hours later, deputies received a report of a person carrying a weapon and walking along Markey and Addison Avenues. Addison was apprehended at the scene and matched the description of the suspect from the Kroger robbery.

Following his arrest, Addison was interviewed by investigators and denied involvement in the robbery. However, clothing believed to be worn during the crime was found at his parents’ residence, located near the arrest site. Addison is currently held at Montgomery County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
