Unfortunately, her body was found in an advanced state of composition, indicating that some time had passed since her death. A forensic examination conducted on Friday revealed that she had died from a single gunshot wound to the head, leading to the conclusion that her death was a homicide.
Further investigation into the case has revealed that the man who took his own life on the same day as the discovery of Kuregian’s body has been identified as 38-year-old Matthew Adrian Poole. The police had arrived at his residence on 15th Avenue Hawaiian Paradise Park to execute a search warrant related to Kuregian’s disappearance. Poole, who was Kuregian’s boyfriend, had reported her missing on May 21, claiming that he had not seen her since May 14. An autopsy conducted on May 24 confirmed that Poole had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
