Inside the residence, officers found Poole deceased from a gunshot wound with a firearm nearby, confirming that he had taken his own life.
Two days prior, Poole had reported Kuregian missing after she had not been seen for approximately a week. During the search of his home, police discovered information that led them to the Orchidland Estates Subdivision, where they found Kuregian’s remains in an advanced state of decomposition on a vacant undeveloped property in Kea’au. A subsequent autopsy revealed that Kuregian had died from a single gunshot wound to the head, and her death was ruled a homicide.
The tragic incident has left behind Kuregian’s 11-year-old daughter, Delilah, who is now at the center of a GoFundMe campaign created in memory of her mother. The fundraiser, which has already surpassed $10,000 in donations, aims to cover funeral expenses and establish a college fund for Delilah’s future.
