Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Two individuals have been apprehended for their alleged involvement in a home invasion robbery that occurred at a residence in Santa Rosa last week, as per reports from the local police department.

Authorities from the Santa Rosa Police Department were informed of the incident at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, prompting a swift response to the 1800 block of Waltzer Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered two adult males inside the property, bound but fortunately unharmed.

Following the liberation of the victims, it was revealed that they had been subjected to a harrowing ordeal at the hands of an armed assailant. The perpetrator had forcibly entered the premises, restrained the occupants, and made off with an unspecified sum of money.

In addition to the robbery, the victims disclosed that their vehicle had also been seized by the suspect, who subsequently abandoned it on a nearby street. Despite an extensive search of the vicinity, law enforcement officials were unable to locate the culprit at the time.

Subsequent investigations led to the identification of the primary suspect as Agustin Anguiano-Soto, a 61-year-old resident of Santa Rosa. Surveillance footage corroborated his involvement in the crime, prompting authorities to apprehend him later that day in Rohnert Park.

Anguiano-Soto was taken into custody without incident during a routine traffic stop, where pertinent evidence related to the robbery was discovered in the vehicle he was operating. Further enquiries by detectives revealed the complicity of a second individual, Juan Uribe-Villafana, aged 40 and also residing in Santa Rosa.

Uribe-Villafana was allegedly responsible for orchestrating the robbery and serving as an accomplice during the invasion. He was located and arrested on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Rosa, with search warrants being executed at his residential address on Flower Avenue.

Both suspects were subsequently booked into Sonoma County Jail on a litany of charges, including first-degree robbery, false imprisonment, residential burglary, and other related offences. The Santa Rosa Police Department has urged any witnesses or individuals in possession of relevant surveillance footage to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
