Tigh Davi Richardson : “Man Accused of Assaulting Teen Girl – April Incident”

A resident of Hatfield Township, identified as Tigh Davi Richardson, has been charged by Lansdale Police with felony aggravated indecent assault without consent and felony aggravated indecent assault of a person under 16 years of age. Richardson is currently held in Montgomery County jail on 10% of $10,000 cash bail, as per court documents.

In addition to the felony charges, Richardson also faces misdemeanor counts of indecent assault without consent, indecent assault on a person under 16, and corruption of minors, according to official records.

The alleged incidents involving the minor took place on April 3, 2023, at the Oakwood Garden Apartments located at 431 E. Main St., Lansdale.

According to the police report, a 15-year-old female reported the incident on April 3, 2023. The victim stated that Richardson, who was known to her family, was staying overnight at her residence and sharing the same bedroom, with Richardson on the top bunk of a bunk bed and the victim on the bottom bunk.

During the night, Richardson reportedly woke up the juvenile by massaging her feet and proceeded to inappropriately touch her, including putting his hand underneath her pajama pants and rubbing her legs up to her buttocks. The alleged assault escalated to digital penetration and toe-sucking without the victim’s consent.

Following the incident, Richardson and the victim exchanged text messages, during which the victim informed him of her intention to report the assault to the police. Richardson, in response, pleaded with her not to, acknowledging his wrongdoing.

Subsequently, when confronted by a family member of the victim about the assault, Richardson confessed to the incident that occurred in the bedroom.

A preliminary hearing for Richardson is scheduled for June 5 at 2:30 p.m. before Magisterial District Judge Edward Levine. Richardson was formally arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James P. Gallagher on May 23.
