Accident – Death – Obituary News :
Srinagar- Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir were alerted on Monday after the discovery of a deceased 60-year-old male near a nallah (rivulet) in the Mankote area of Mendhar, located in the Poonch district.
According to official sources as reported by GNS, the body of the elderly man was first noticed by passersby near Balnoi nallah. Subsequently, a police team was informed and the body was recovered around 0730 hours. The deceased individual has been identified as Mohammad Ayoub Malik, a resident of Balnoi.
A police official confirmed the incident, stating that necessary steps have been initiated, and investigations are currently in progress.
