An 18-year-old young man, Erik Christopher Cox, tragically lost his life in a fatal accident on the Eisenhower Expressway. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the westbound lanes near Damen Avenue. Cox, who had just graduated from Rolling Meadows High School a week prior, was struck and killed while changing a tire on the expressway.
