In a tragic incident in Maharajganj (UP), a 21-year-old woman named Anjali Yadav was discovered hanging at her in-laws’ residence. Her family has made serious allegations, claiming that she was murdered by her husband and his parents due to dowry demands.
Anjali had been married to Ganesh Yadav for nearly three years before the unfortunate event took place. The incident occurred at the house of her in-laws in Nautanwa, where Anjali was found hanging from a ceiling fan in one of the rooms on Sunday evening.
Upon receiving the news, the police promptly arrived at the scene and transported Anjali’s body to a local hospital for a postmortem examination. Circle Officer Jai Prakash Tripathi stated that the family members of the deceased have accused her husband and in-laws of causing her death over dowry demands.
A case of dowry death has been officially registered by the authorities, and a thorough investigation is currently underway. The exact cause of Anjali’s demise will only be determined following the completion of the postmortem procedure.
