An unidentified man, believed to be aged between 40 and 50, was discovered deceased on a footbridge in Caloocan City on Sunday, June 2.

The Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) reported that the man was wearing a red shirt, shorts, and red slippers when he was found at 7 a.m. on the EDSA A. De Jesus footbridge along EDSA Southbound in Barangay 87, Caloocan City.

Concerned citizens alerted CCPS personnel about the situation, prompting operatives to investigate the scene where the lifeless man was located.

Witnesses in the area, Alfredo Aguilar, 68, and Jaycee Doctor, 41, revealed that the man, known to them as alias “Pogi”, appeared to be distressed before his untimely demise.

Authorities have announced plans to conduct a thorough follow-up inquiry to ascertain the man’s identity and notify his next of kin.

The deceased’s body has been transferred to Ezequel Funeral Service for further examination through an autopsy procedure.
