A tragic incident unfolded in Highland on Sunday as a Maryland man lost his life in a motorcycle crash, as reported by state police.

Details of the Incident

The Avondale barracks received a distress call at 12:02 p.m. regarding a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Limestone Road and Lenover Road in Highland. The motorcycle had collided with a field, leading to the fatality.

Victim Identification

The victim, identified as Adam Frye, aged 41 and hailing from Aberdeen, Md., was found lifeless at the crash site. It was determined that the injuries sustained in the incident were fatal.

Cause of the Crash

Initial investigations suggest that Frye was travelling north on Limestone Road at a speed exceeding the safe limit for the prevailing conditions. As a result, he lost control of the motorcycle and veered off the road into the adjacent field.
