Accident – Death – Obituary News : Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a man has been taken into custody following a significant drug bust at a residence in Rochester last week.
Captain Tim Parkin revealed on Monday morning that the bust was a result of ongoing investigations into narcotics activities. Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at approximately 9:00 am on Friday, leading to the discovery and seizure of suspected drugs.
Deputies Seize Large Amount of Suspected Cocaine from Rochester Home
The search warrant was served at a property located in the 800 block of Diamond Ridge Ln. Northwest, where law enforcement officials uncovered around 40 grams of suspected crack cocaine and cocaine powder. The sheriff’s office report confirmed the seizure of these substances.
Abdikadar Ali, a 25-year-old individual, was arrested following the search and drug seizure. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is recommending that Ali be charged with first-degree drug sales, fifth-degree drug sales, second-degree drug possession, and fifth-degree drug possession.
Ali was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center shortly before 10:40 am on Friday and is currently awaiting his first court appearance in Olmsted County.
