The call reported an Incident of Injury to a Disabled Person. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim’s mother, who alleged that her son had been physically harmed by his Home Healthcare provider.

After conducting a thorough investigation, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives confirmed that the suspect had indeed assaulted the victim several days prior to the call. Subsequently, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the suspect, identified as 51-year-old Ruben Cano from Conroe, Texas. Later that day, Cano was apprehended at his residence and taken into custody for the charge of Injury to a Disabled Person, classified as a third-degree felony.
