PENSACOLA, Fla. – Pensacola Police have reported the arrest of a man on five counts of aggravated battery, as well as other charges.

Details of the Incident

According to the Pensacola Police Department, on the night of 6th February 2024, officers responded to a call about shots being fired in the area of Palafox Place and Intendencia Street.

Upon reaching the scene, the officers found that a significant disturbance had taken place, involving a physical altercation. One victim had been struck in the head with a glass bottle, while another had been shot in the foot. Additionally, shots fired during the incident had injured multiple people with shrapnel, although all injuries were reported to be non-life threatening.

Arrest of the Suspect

The suspect, identified as Ramadhani Jabari Richardson (born on 13th March 1999), was located in Escambia County shortly after the incident. He was subsequently arrested on charges of 5 counts of aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm in a municipality, and an out-of-state warrant.

Following his arrest, Richardson was booked into the Escambia County Jail.
