Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A tragic incident occurred on Saturday evening in Candia, New Hampshire, as a motorcyclist lost his life in a crash on Route 101. The New Hampshire State Police received a report of the incident around 6:30 p.m., with troopers rushing to the scene to find a man and a Harley Davidson motorcycle involved in the accident.

The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Ralph Cummings from Newmarket, NH. Unfortunately, Cummings succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. The preliminary investigation suggests that he was travelling at a high speed on Route 101 when he lost control of his Harley Davidson in a fishtailing motion, eventually crashing on the road. It is worth noting that Cummings was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Witnesses to the crash reported that there was no passenger on the motorcycle and no other vehicles were involved in the incident. As a result of the crash, Route 101 eastbound was closed in the vicinity of mile marker 109 for approximately two hours. Motorists were advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes if possible. Fortunately, by 9 p.m., all lanes had reopened to traffic.

The New Hampshire State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact Trooper Seth Parker via email at Seth.K.Parker@DOS.NH.GOV.
