Accident – Death – Obituary News : A tragic incident in Smyrna has left a Dover man dead after a collision between his motorcycle and a jeep. The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the details of the crash that occurred on Route 13 at Sweet Corn Lane on Thursday afternoon.
Initial reports suggest that the driver of the jeep failed to yield and pulled into the path of the motorcyclist, resulting in a fatal collision. The 59-year-old man on the motorcycle, identified as Lance Sieben, tragically lost his life at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the jeep and a passenger sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. The authorities have not yet determined the exact cause of the crash and are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.
