A man is facing multiple charges after an incident involving Alabama State Troopers. According to reports, the man led troopers on a chase from Interstate 85 onto Bell Road.
The events unfolded around 1 PM on a Saturday when a state trooper attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle on Interstate 85 near Exit 16 (Waugh/Pike Road exit). The driver failed to stop, prompting a pursuit that continued onto Bell Road and eventually concluded near the Exchange Street intersection, close to Troy Highway.
The driver, identified as 26-year-old Ladarrion Johnson from Atmore, was apprehended and charged with felony attempting to elude, reckless endangerment, and several traffic violations, as confirmed by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
