Accident – Death – Obituary News : Jaipur: The Galta Gate police in Jaipur are making significant progress in their investigation of the brutal murder of 60-year-old Gopal Khandelwal. The incident took place on Thursday night in Shanti Colony, where Khandelwal was viciously attacked by three of his neighbours following a parking dispute. The suspects have been identified as Prabhu (58) and his sons, Manish (36) and Ravi (35).
Despite the accused fleeing the city, the police remain optimistic about making arrests in the near future. Hari Shankar Sharma, assistant commissioner of police, Ramganj, stated that six specialized teams are actively working on the case, conducting raids on the homes of the suspects’ relatives. The authorities now have crucial information regarding the exact whereabouts of the accused individuals.
In related news, the Galta Gate police have been actively pursuing other criminal cases in the region. Recently, the principal district and sessions judge Irshad Agha acquitted Laljit Jhora, a native of Jharkhand, who was accused of murdering Sanju in Kirlapal, Dharbandora, back in 2019. The judge ordered Jhora to provide a fresh personal bond of Rs 20,000.
Furthermore, in Pune, the police arrested the mother of a teenager involved in a Porsche car accident case. The authorities confirmed that the teen’s blood samples had been tampered with, as they were replaced with his mother’s. Subsequently, the police obtained permission to record the teen’s statement. Additionally, Dr Ajay Taware and others were apprehended for their involvement in tampering with the minor’s blood samples.
Meanwhile, in Mathura, a rape accused named Manoj Singh managed to escape from police custody during an encounter. Singh, who has a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, allegedly assaulted a 65-year-old woman at an isolated location before fleeing. A search operation is currently underway to locate and apprehend the fugitive.
