Marvin Osarius Villalobos-Flores : “19-Year-Old Arrested in Palestine Stabbing”

PALESTINE, Texas (KETK) – A 19-year-old man has been apprehended by the Palestine Police Department on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a stabbing incident that took place on Monday.

During the early hours of Monday, at approximately 2:21 a.m., a Palestine PD officer responded to a call at Palestine Regional Medical Center-East Campus where a stabbing victim was being transported. The officer assisted medical personnel in transferring the victim for emergency treatment.

Subsequently, Palestine PD officers proceeded to the 500 block of Fort Street to conduct an investigation into the stabbing incident and to interview individuals involved.

The suspect, Marvin Osarius Villalobos-Flores, a 19-year-old resident of Palestine, was identified as the perpetrator of the assault. Law enforcement officers recovered a kitchen knife believed to have been used in the stabbing.

Villalobos-Flores has been incarcerated in the Anderson County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, with bail set at $100,000.

The Palestine Police Department has confirmed that the victim of the stabbing is anticipated to recover from their injuries.
