On Tuesday, May 28, at 3 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a woman lying in the middle of the road in the 2800 block of Airline Highway.

Upon their arrival, they discovered the woman with multiple injuries to her body. She was promptly transported to a hospital by an Acadian Ambulance.

During the investigation, the woman informed authorities that while she was driving in the area, she was forcibly removed from her vehicle by a man identified as 21-year-old Marquis Dunn.
