A man is currently in Orange County Jail in Orlando, Florida, facing charges of manslaughter following a tragic incident in downtown Orlando in April. Jordan Talley, aged 27, is accused of fatally punching a Good Samaritan who was attempting to protect a woman in distress.

The incident took place on March 31 at the corner of Robinson Street and Magnolia Avenue, where witnesses saw Talley violently throw his girlfriend to the ground. A family who was out celebrating their daughter’s engagement witnessed the altercation and decided to intervene. One of the family members, identified as 64-year-old Donald Storie, attempted to help the woman in need.

According to the arrest affidavit, Storie confronted Talley, who then punched Storie in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground. Storie succumbed to his injuries almost a month later while in the hospital.

After the attack, Talley fled the scene, but Orlando police were able to track him down. Despite being apprehended, Talley admitted to punching Storie but was unable to provide a valid reason for his actions.

In a disturbing revelation, the affidavit stated that Talley expressed no fear for his safety or the safety of others, boldly claiming that he is not afraid of anything.

Talley appeared in court for a hearing on Friday, where prosecutors intended to request that he be held in jail until his trial. However, the hearing was postponed until June 4.
