A heartbreaking incident occurred at an Orlando theme park as a 13-year-old girl tragically lost her life after being found unresponsive in a pool, as reported by various media outlets.
Authorities from the Orange County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office responded to a distress call at Discovery Cove theme park on Tuesday morning. The young girl was discovered in the pool in a critical condition and was swiftly rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, she sadly passed away shortly after arrival, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The victim has been identified as 13-year-old Anna Beaumont. The Orange-Osceola Medical Examiner’s Office has determined her death as an accidental drowning. As investigations are ongoing, further details have yet to be disclosed.
