The incident, which occurred in Millennium Colony in Jabalpur district on March 15, saw the girl’s 22-year-old accomplice, Mukul Singh, flee the scene. Singh, who is also the girl’s lover, later surrendered at Civil Lines police station in Jabalpur.
The victims were identified as Rajkumar Vishwakarma, a railway worker, and his eight-year-old son. Vishwakarma’s wife had passed away a year prior, leaving him to care for his children.
