CHICAGO – A Chicago woman has been taken into custody by the Chicago police in connection with the assault of a young girl last year. Alexis Davila, 35, was arrested at her residence on West 71st Street by Chicago police and the Great Lake Regional Fugitive Task Force.
The incident took place on September 17 in the 1900 block of South Spaulding Avenue, where Davila allegedly attacked an 11-year-old girl. She has been charged with one felony count of aggravated battery to a child, causing great bodily harm. Davila was scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Friday to face the charges.
