YOUNGSTOWN — Shocking new video footage has emerged, revealing the aftermath of a devastating explosion that rocked Ohio.

Initial reports from News Center 7 indicated that the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the Realty Building on Central Square in downtown Youngstown.
In the newly released video, a firefighter can be seen using a ladder to descend into the basement of the Chase Bank, where an injured bank employee awaited rescue.
Tragically, the body of a man was recovered later that same evening.
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Akil Drake, an employee at the Chase Bank branch within the building, according to CBS affiliate WKBN.
The National Transportation Safety Board has taken charge of the investigation into the incident.
