HOUSTON, Texas — Houston Police Department has filed a murder charge against a suspect in connection with the tragic stabbing incident that resulted in the death of a man at 9500 Deering Drive on March 11.

The accused, identified as 58-year-old Terry Talley, is alleged to have caused the death of 34-year-old Julian Croll. Talley, who is currently at large, has been formally charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf II and E. Torres II revealed that patrol officers responded to a distress call reporting a person in need of assistance at the specified address. Upon arrival, emergency responders found an unconscious man with a stab wound. Tragically, the victim was later identified as Croll and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to a witness account, two unidentified individuals, described as black males, were involved in the stabbing incident and fled the scene in a vehicle. Subsequent investigation efforts led to the identification of Terry Talley as the prime suspect in the case. Talley was officially charged on May 29.

The investigation into this heinous crime is currently ongoing, with HPD urging members of the public who may have information on Terry Talley’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in bringing him to justice.
