Nimra : “University student gang-raped in Okara”

A distressing incident of sexual assault has come to light in the east-central city of Okara, where a young university student was brutally raped and filmed by a father-son duo.

According to reports in the local media, the 22-year-old victim, who resided at her older sister’s residence, fell prey to the heinous act of sexual assault perpetrated by two culprits identified as a father and his son.

The victim’s brother-in-law, Babar Ali, allegedly started the torment by threatening and then raping the young woman. Shockingly, he also recorded the horrific abuse to use as a tool for further manipulation. The victim was warned that the explicit videos and photos would be circulated widely if she dared to report the crime.

Adding to the horrifying ordeal, the son of the main perpetrator also engaged in filming inappropriate images using his father’s mobile phone. Subsequently, he resorted to blackmailing the victim, Nimra, coercing her into engaging in physical relations with him.

Tragically, as a result of the traumatic series of events, the 22-year-old victim ended up pregnant. In response to the grave injustice, the police at Division Police Station in Okara have taken action by registering a case under relevant sections related to rape and blackmail. The investigation and legal proceedings are currently underway to bring the perpetrators to justice.
