Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has launched a comprehensive investigation into the tragic discovery of a body in Pajarito Mesa on May 19, 2024, around 4 p.m. The body, identified as a teenage male with visible signs of at least one gunshot wound, presented a challenging case for BCSO detectives. The victim was later confirmed to be 16-year-old Jesus Quintana Cota, after his family reported him missing.
The process of identifying Jesus and informing his family was conducted with meticulous care and sensitivity, given the young age of the victim.
