The South China Morning Post reported that AK’s parents were immediately wary of Adinda.
The truth came to light when AK decided to track down Adinda’s former address and discovered that her parents were alive and well. They revealed that Adinda was actually a man named ESH who had been cross-dressing since 2020. They were unaware of their son’s relationship or marriage to AK.
ESH has since been arrested by the police and has admitted to intending to marry AK in order to steal his family’s assets. He is now facing fraud charges that could result in up to four years in prison. Police have suggested that ESH enjoyed pretending to be a woman while dating men and had previously dated women as well.
