Following the recent Pune Porsche incident that claimed the lives of two individuals, another tragic incident occurred in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune district, where a 28-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a speeding car.
The authorities swiftly apprehended the driver responsible for the accident, and the entire event was captured on CCTV footage.

According to a statement released by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police, the fatal collision took place on May 27 at approximately 1:30 am on the service road adjacent to the Pune-Bangalore highway in the Wakad area of Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Tragically, Angad Giri, aged 28, was fatally struck by a speeding vehicle while crossing the road, resulting in his immediate demise.
The entire incident was captured on camera, enabling the authorities to identify the vehicle and its driver, 20-year-old Vedant Rai. A case has been lodged against Rai at the Hinjewadi Police station under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicle Act.
The suspect was taken into custody on May 28 for further investigation.
In the prior Porsche car tragedy, a minor crashed his high-end vehicle into two IT professionals who were riding a motorcycle, resulting in their untimely deaths. The victims, Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia, both young IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh, tragically lost their lives in the accident on the night of May 19.
