In a shocking turn of events, two Pittsburgh men have been arrested for allegedly stealing over $4,000 worth of merchandise from an Allegheny County Giant Eagle store. The accused individuals, Sergio Lombardo and Benjamin Coghe, are facing felony and misdemeanor theft charges following a series of incidents at the Giant Eagle located on Butler Plank Road in Glenshaw.

According to a criminal complaint, Sergio Lombardo was caught on surveillance video entering the Giant Eagle on multiple occasions in May. Each time, he was seen using the Scan Pay Go Scanner to pick up items from the store before canceling the order and walking out without paying.
