Sean “Diddy” Combs, a renowned rapper and music mogul known for launching the careers of many stars, is currently embroiled in a series of civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape. The allegations have led to federal agents from US Homeland Security raiding two of his properties in Los Angeles and Miami on 25 March.

Despite the accusations, Combs, who has undergone various reinventions throughout his career, has vehemently denied all claims. His legal team has dismissed the lawsuits as baseless money grabs.

The allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

The first lawsuit was filed by singer and dancer Cassie, Combs’ former partner, under the New York Adult Survivors Act. Cassie alleged a decade of abuse, including trafficking, rape, and beatings by Combs.

In another lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, Combs is accused of subjecting him to unwanted advances and forcing him to engage in relations with sex workers hired by Combs. The lawsuit also alleges that Combs hosted sex-trafficking parties with underage women and illegal drugs.

Joie Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit claiming that Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her while she was a college student in 1991. The suit also alleges that Combs recorded the assault and showed it to others.

More recently, Crystal McKinney filed a lawsuit alleging that Combs sexually assaulted her at his recording studio in New York City in 2003. The lawsuit claims that McKinney was drugged and forced to perform oral sex on Combs.

April Lampros, who met Combs as a student, also filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of sexually assaulting her multiple times between 1995 and the early 2000s. Lampros claims that Combs forced himself on her despite her protests.

These lawsuits have brought to light a series of disturbing allegations against Combs, with more women coming forward with claims of sexual assault.

Combs’s response to the allegations

Sean Combs has strongly denied all accusations against him and has vowed to fight for his name and the truth. In a statement, he called the claims “sickening” and accused his accusers of seeking a quick payday.

Combs’s legal team has refuted the claims, calling them “pure fiction” and stating that they have overwhelming proof to show the allegations are false.

Despite settling some of the lawsuits, Combs maintains his innocence and has expressed regret for his actions in certain incidents, as seen in a video where he condemned his actions and apologized for his behavior.
