In a shocking incident at Mission Hills Park in Henderson, Nevada, police have arrested a man in connection with multiple gunshots being fired in the area last week.

The incident took place on May 21 around 10:45 p.m. when the Henderson Police Department received reports of a large group of teenagers loitering in the park and gunshots being heard. Upon investigation, it was revealed that an argument among several individuals escalated, leading to one person firing their handgun.

After an 18-year-old was arrested for reckless driving at Mission Hills Park in Henderson, police confirmed that the park has been a trouble spot.

The shooting suspect has been identified as 19-year-old Robert Berry. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but there was property damage to a nearby residence and vehicle as a result of the gunfire.

Berry was taken into custody and has been booked into the Henderson Detention Center on charges of two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and five counts of discharging a weapon in a way that endangered others.

He is scheduled to appear in Henderson Justice Court on July 1 to face these charges.
