Accident – Death – Obituary News : **Woman Crushed by Train in Agra After Jumping onto Tracks in a Bid to Scare Partner**

In a tragic turn of events, a 38-year-old woman met with a fatal accident at the Raja Ki Mandi station in Agra after attempting to scare her live-in partner by jumping onto the railway tracks. The incident, which has garnered widespread attention due to CCTV footage circulating online, unfolded on Monday night in the Barf Wali Gali area of Lohamandi.

The woman, identified as Rani, reportedly got into a heated argument with her partner, Kishore, who works as a chow mein vendor. The dispute erupted over Kishore’s drinking habits, leading to Rani threatening to take her own life by leaping in front of a train.

Despite Kishore’s attempts to downplay the situation, Rani insisted on following through with her threat, ultimately leading them to Raja Ki Mandi station. The couple settled on a bench at platform number one, where their dispute continued to escalate.

Around 11:30 pm, Rani impulsively rose from the bench and hurled herself onto the tracks in a desperate bid to scare Kishore. Tragically, she was unaware of the Kerala Express hurtling towards them from Agra Cantt to New Delhi.

Despite her frantic efforts to clamber back onto the platform, Rani was unable to evade the oncoming train in time. The impact left her trapped between the train and the platform, resulting in severe injuries.

Rapidly responding to the incident, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, led by outpost in-charge Laxman Pachauri, managed to extricate Rani from beneath the train and rush her to SN Medical College for urgent medical attention. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Inspector Samar Bahadur of the Government Railway Police (GRP) Cantonment division revealed that Kishore shared details of Rani’s troubled past, including the untimely demise of her former husband, Dharmendra, due to alcohol-related issues.

The couple had been together for over a year, as per reports, with Rani leaving behind three sons from her previous marriage. While two of her children resided with her, the eldest lived separately. The authorities have initiated post-mortem procedures following the tragic incident.

Inspector Bahadur confirmed that no formal complaint had been lodged yet, but assured that necessary actions would be taken upon receiving a complaint. The community mourns the loss of Rani, whose life was cut short in a moment of desperation and tragedy.
