INTERNATIONAL FALLS, Minn. – In a tragic turn of events, two individuals are currently in critical condition after a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in International Falls, Minnesota.

According to reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident took place on Highway 11 near MP209. The Alfa SUV, driven by 18-year-old Kaylee Rae Scholler of International Falls, was travelling eastbound when it lost control on a corner. The vehicle then collided with a pontoon trailer before rolling into a tree.

Accident investigators have identified the passenger in the vehicle as 20-year-old Gracie Della Bowles, also from International Falls.

The collision, which took place around 6 pm, resulted in both Scholler and Bowles sustaining life-threatening injuries. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and transported the victims to Duluth St. Mary’s Hospital for urgent medical attention.

It is reported that both Scholler and Bowles were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident, highlighting the importance of adhering to safety measures while on the road.

As the community of International Falls comes together to support the injured individuals and their families during this difficult time, authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
