Two individuals have been apprehended following a violent confrontation captured on camera at Block 54 Havelock Road.
A video circulating on social media depicts the altercation between a driver and a motorcyclist, with the altercation spilling onto the road, pavement, and grassy area.
The footage shows the driver brandishing what appears to be a knife-like object in an attempt to strike his adversary. In response, the motorcyclist is seen deflecting the driver’s assaults while simultaneously recording the incident on a mobile phone.
Responding to enquiries from Stomp, the authorities confirmed receiving a distress call on May 28 at 12.05pm.
“A 38-year-old male was taken into custody for affray, while a 62-year-old man was apprehended for affray and voluntarily causing harm with a dangerous weapon,” the police department reported.
Both suspects suffered minor injuries during the altercation but declined transportation to a medical facility.
The police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
