In a recent incident in Porter Township, Clarion County, three men were arrested for breaking into a residence and stealing multiple items. The suspects, identified as Steven Lee Bowser Sr., Bo Brady Murray, and William Stanl Brookbank, were apprehended by Clarion-based State Police following a report of a burglary in progress on May 13.

According to court records, the incident took place on the 8700 block of State Route 861 in Porter Township. The victim, who was away from his residence at the time, received alerts on his phone indicating movement on the surveillance video. Upon reviewing the footage, he observed the three suspects approaching his property on foot.

The surveillance footage showed the men attempting to make contact with residents at the rear door of the residence. When no one answered, they proceeded to empty the contents of a vehicle on the property, with the intention of either driving or towing it away. The suspects also tampered with and disabled the surveillance camera before leaving the scene.

Further investigation revealed that a window of the residence had been opened, and a bag containing various tools was stolen from inside. While Bowser and Brookbank claimed they were inside the residence to feed the dogs on the property, the animals were not present during the incident.

Following their arrest, Bowser and Brookbank were arraigned on charges including burglary, theft, and conspiracy in front of District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller. Bowser is currently out on $35,000.00 unsecured bail, while Brookbank’s bail was set at $35,000.00 monetary bail.

Murray, on the other hand, faced charges of conspiracy, theft, and criminal trespass during his arraignment in front of Judge Miller. He was released on $30,000.00 unsecured bail pending further proceedings.

All three suspects are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on June 4, with District Judge Timothy Schill presiding over the case. The investigation into the burglary is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
